I have worked in the early childhood field for almost 40 years, as a mother (although my children quickly outgrew my specialization!), teacher and specialist. I have taught in Montessori, Head Start and public school settings. With Head Start, I worked as a teacher, parent involvement specialist, education coordinator and curriculum specialist.

I have learned so much from kids and have used that knowledge to create books and programs you will find at In touch with kids. My stories reflect concerns from a kid's point of view, with illustrations that I hope will inspire children to do art with common objects.
